Staten Island residents are pleased to hear of various relief projects going on in their area. Plagued with flooding issues and aging infrastructure that is inadequate for their growing needs, the local Department of Environment Protection and Design and Construction announced a plan to address and renew the water infrastrucure in the area.

The city plans to upgrade the water delivery system in the area, replacing the older cast iron mains with almost 12,000 feet of new ductile iron pipe mains. The city turned to U.S. Pipe to supply and deliver the new water mains to ensure another century of water delivery as the city continues to grow.
